In some cases, the claims of profit margin seemed to be too good to be true. We therefore investigated this fact and found that profit margins are in fact very, very high when the product is first released. Profit margins tend to decrease after the item has been in circulation for some time because supply goes up and demand goes down. Smart dropshippers who keep tabs on hot items and are able to sell them from Salehoo immediately after release can set themselves up to make large gains. This is not to say that profits cannot be made after the fact, but the large gains that are promoted on the website are a result of active dropshippers getting in the game when the iron is hot.
One interesting note about Salehoo is that the dropship wholesale directory allows you to purchase products on the spot. This is important, because when you sell a wholesale item on eBay, you need to be able to fulfill the order and ship immediately. The fact that, through Salehoo, you are taken directly to the product page is another plus.
Testing the customer service, we sent an email to the support staff and asked for help finding a certain item. They then created a human made, hand picked list of dropshippers that carried that specific item. This was very impressive, and the customer service team was responsive and very helpful each time a question was submitted.
In addition, there is a very active and helpful user forum that all Salehoo members have access to. These forums are invaluable learning tools, especially for beginners. Here, users can ask each other questions and get tips from those who have far more experience.
Salehoo is backed by many reputable companies, such as the Better Business Bureau and the Fair Trade Authority. They are also a member of the eBay Developers Program. In order to increase your dropship profits using eBay, all members receive software that works along with eBay to help the user find bargains.
Salehoo also boasts a money back guarantee, and we decided to put it to the test. We requested a refund, and, at first, the company tried to make amends with "us." (As a side note, they were very helpful as usual.) To test the refund, we persisted and were emphatic that a refund was needed, and it was given to use within a few business days. Again, impressive.
Salehoo is a great learning tool for those who are just getting into the dropshipping arena. It is also an excellent resource for experienced dropshippers who need many suppliers. For eBay Powersellers, this is exactly what is needed. If you ask most dropshippers, "What is the biggest challenge in your business?", most would say, "Finding suppliers." Salehoo fixes this problem by providing an extensive and regularly updated list of dropship wholesale suppliers.
Finally, Salehoo is an excellent value. At a one-time fee of $49.95, it is less expensive than most dropship wholesale suppliers, and the user endures absolutely zero recurring fees. There are no monthly subscriptions to pay for, no dropshipping fees, and no gimmicks.
All in all, Salehoo is an excellent resource that should be considered. It is a top notch resource for beginning dropshippers and an invaluable tool to keep in the already experienced dropshipper's aresenal.
